5.7 tbi to 5.3 swap

Hi, im a new guy here from va. I have a 1994 Chevy silverado ecsb 4x4 with the 350 Tbi. Im looking to do a swap to a 5.3 lm7 with a 4l60e both out of an 03-04 silverado. After reading several other forums who recommended coming here for info and advice.... I did! What are some compatibility issues I may run into? I already know about some motor mount kits that locate the engine 1" further back which presents its obvious problems such as crossmember and driveshaft discrepancies. Wiring and meshing my old harness with the new is where im gonna have trouble... any help would be appreciated. (I haven't started the swap yet as im looking to cost and information before I plow in knee deep since this truck is my DD)

Hey welcome to the site! a few of us on here have sucessfully done this swap so you are definately in the right place. i would suggest going through the lsx conversion threads. it should answer all of your questions. to get ya started get some adjustable motor mounts from dirty dingo. that will pretty much eliminate any issues with the crossmember and driveshaft by allowing you to use them in stock locations. wiring is can be the most difficult part of the swap. you have a few options. modify your own with lt1swap.com or get one made for you by nelson performance. good luck!

Thanks for the input! The only mounts I had found any info for were transdapt so that could clear up some stuff from the get-go... ill check out the conversion threads
