TXSilverado, I like that hood of yours. I just don't like the price they want for the functional flapper version.

No more trucks, but this is what I used to have. 2000 GMC Sierra, 6.0L-LQ4, Built 4L60, LS6 Cam, The Other Guys Headers, 3 inch exhaust and 7 chamber flowmaster, 43lb injectors, Nelson Tuning, Drop - 3/4 McGaughys Spindles, Bell Tech Shackles & Hangers. Best time 13.59 @ 106
flapper version? do you mean the functional ram air ones or the cowls? mine is functional cowl but it aint got no flappers.

Sad that I've been in Tx 10 yrs and I've got ya. I keep swearing that if my kids start saying "Ya'll" and "Fixin" I will SEVERELY beat the teachers and there freinds.
With my truck being a pewter body and all the accents black (mirror caps, running boards, grille & bumper parts, rims, tonneau) I think the flapper cowl hood with SS Stripes would look good. I don't want the air box taking air out of the the engine bay but if the flapper did it's thing I would be happy. Just get me a different price than $1K.
After looking at other people's signatures it is nice to see so many Sportsides. A good street truck, still able to haul loads of/and A$%!!!
you could always just do the ram air mod on the stock box, with different tubing...
