1990 Silverado, 6.0LTR swap soon, any advice

i got a Ketchup red 1990 Chevy Silverado SWB, 5sp manual, 5.7lts tbi

What my plans are is to do a 6.0 ltr swap into it, i have a good idea of what i need to do. I looked at redheartbeats thread already and it helps alot. But is there anything else i should do before i begin my swap.
