Thread: New guy from Tucson

    New guy from Tucson

Name's Jeff, I just bought a '95 GMC RCSB about a month or so ago. The truck is a 5.7, auto, already bagged up front and has an S&W ladder bar backhalf.

Yes, those are Saleen replicas you're looking at. Aside from the fact they're Ford wheels, I need to replace them due to fitment issues up front. The previous owner supposedly had them custom built, but still in the wrong lug pattern for a GM truck, so they have 1"+ thick adapters on them and I'm not to keen on using adapters.

Plans for the truck include an LS swap, C6 Z06 brakes, repaint it black, Shockwaves all around and set it up to handle as well as a truck can. For right now I'm just focusing on making it a reliable driver until I move back to Texas, then I'll have my Ranger to beat on everyday while working on this.

Thanks! I just ordered some 20" BOSS 338s for it last week. I was gonna toss the Saleens on my Ranger, but the previous owner had them made with a 5x4.75 pattern, so they won't fit without adapters. I'll be living in the DFW area, not sure exactly where just yet.

Thanks! I'm hoping to do an LS3, but I need to do a lot more research before making my mind up.

Thanks!!! Did you get a chance to see it in theaters back in March? And I'll make sure I look him up when the time comes. I know I'll never make a Lotus Exige driver jealous of how my truck corners, but it'll still be funny to keep up with Camaros and Mustangs on a track.

Oh yeah, I recently found out I was accepted to take the entrance exam for the Ft. Worth fire dept. I have to fly into DFW on the 10th for the test, wish I just moving already.
