    New guy from MS-Contemplating a 99+ 1500

Heard about this site from another member, and figured I'd check it out. Nothin like adding a little southern flavor to the mix!

hey guys, just wanted to start a thread introducing myself and my car(s)

I'm a student at MSU, with just a little more time to go. I drive an '86 Mustang GT and a '99 Buick Regal GS.

My GT has been pretty much put together to be a great handling street car. I do a lot of autox and am looking to do more road-course events in the future

    Mods on the GT:
    -Stock engine
    -Bassanni EL CC Headers
    -Pypes Catted X
    -Magnaflow CatBack (dumped for now)
    -MM CC plates
    -Tokico Illuminas
    -H&R Race Springs (front)
-Steeda 5-Link-2, with 350# rear springs
    -Corbeau TRS II Wides
    -MGW shifter with Orange handle
    -FMS 3.73's

    Plans:
-306^3", GT40 headed, custom cammed, etc engine
    -Better differential
    -Bigger seats (I'm kinda chubby)
    -LED Taillights
    -HID Conversion

The regal is more of a cruiser, with a little secret Should be about the same speed as the mustang, but a little more plush, lol. Ive actually decided recently to sell the car, to fund another project :bigthumb:
    Mods:
    Woodgrain Delete
    -Thrasher 3.4 MPS
    -New ZZP SC Coupler
    -AL104'S
    -U-Bend, Cat, and Resonator delete
    -Tinted heads/tails
    -4" Intake
    -ZZP 1.0 PCM

    Pics:

    EDIT:
I'm actually looking to purchase or trade my regal(s) for a 99+ 1500 in the near future, and am trying to learn as much as I can, and get a feel for the sites that are associated with them. This site looks to be rather nice, and I look forward to posting & lurking a bit to learn as much as possible!
*this was not an advertisement for sale, just stating my intentions for joining*

I look forward to talking to/meeting you all!

well, I'm actively looking for a 99+ Chevy/GMC 1500 at the moment to replace the regal, or compliment it, either way it happens

Actually I'll add that in the original post, just so folks don't think they are being invaded by one from the "Dark Side," lol

This wont be my first GM truck... I rather enjoyed my last one, but it really wasnt something I was looking for. I bought something REALLY cheap, and decided it wasnt for me.

lol, We'll see... I've got a ton of time and money in the fox, and have some plans to spend more of both on it in the near future. Plans for the truck (if i find one) will be a small drop, some wheels, tint, and a sound system. I'll probably add a little nitrous and some exhaust for fun, but I really dont want to take the truck out of it's DD status for now.

lownslo, thanks for pointing me at this site... keep your eyes open for me!
