hey whats up guys. im new to the site. my friends referred me to the site. im planning on installing a 2000 5.3 w/ a mild cam not sure how much lift or duration, corvette intake manifold, underdrive crank pulley. i already have the engine and now im needing a transmission (4L60E), ive also got some engines mounts that someone is supposed to give to me. the engine was installed in an 92 fbody w/ a 700R4. im not really lookin to make a lot of power im just tryin to get something fairly reliable and run good. im needing help with the install as this will be the first engine swap for this truck.
<any help would be greatly appreciated.>

Welcome. Sounds fun. Keep the truck intake as it will work better for your build AND be easier/cheaper.

Imma guess this is Clay? Whats up man. Welcome to the site.

Can anyone on here point this man to a 4l60e for a decent price? He has been looking for one for awhile.

See if chris still has the one that it came off of. He keeps crap laying around and you know it better then me clay. It will also give you a bit better torque on the bottom end. Being you arent wanting to stall it that high it would be a big plus.

Has anyone heard of Performance Automotive and Transmission Center in Bossier City. They sell Raptor parts and transmissions. My brother suggested that I look for a raptor transmission. Im just wondering what everyone else thought about them.
