Hows it going, my name is Jon, im from the chicago area. I just bought a 03 gmc z71 and looking to do some mods. someone told me about this site and here i am. I got an 85 monte carlo ss with a carbed LT4 and building an 78 malibu also. Im in the process of building a 383 stroker for my GMC with a vortech, dont know which vortech yet.

Welcome. I was seriously thinking about building a 383 out of my 6.0 block...but its not gonna happen...I have heard of people using either the 5.3 block or the LS1 block to make that happen.
