my 2002 silverado build [2014] revision

Some of you have followed my truck over the yrs. From its first turbo setup in 08 to its twins in 2010 and now for 2014 the truck is going back to an auto. I had enough of the issues that are related to the manual and power setup for me the change and go back to an auto. The last issue was my firewall split from the clutch master, with all the pressure always applied from the pedal.

so for this revision of the truck i got rid of alot of un needed weight. Weight form the skirts, weight from the front bumper, system and etc

for this go around i decided to go back to my LS2 and topped it off with a set of trick flow 220s, Isky 218/218/112. the rings were opened up to .028 so it should be little more boost friendly. Tossed in a set of LS9 gaskets

decided to go with N.O. coolant crossover

decided to make a T5 log for my Pt91.5 and decided use a precision 66mm gate

    2002 Lightning - GT headed 5.5Litre w/ Twin 7665s
    2002 Silverado - 427Lsx w/ Twin gt4202s
    2010 Silverado crewcab Z71 - 5.3litre w/ procharger
    2000 Wrangler - 5.3litre with some stance
    2014 Xsport- 3.5 Eco boost
    412 Motorsports

it ain't that I'm too big to listen to the rumors, It's just that I'm too damn big to pay attention to 'em..That's the difference

i then wanted a change in interior, so went with SEM landau black interior dye and had my panels dyed black. Also went ahead and had my headliner redone in black suede

at this point i felt it was time to stiffen up the chassis some by doing a roll bar. I went ahead and did a 8 point chromo
with with 3/16 polycarbonate for the rear glass
wanted removable door bars as this is a street truck and not a full race truck. the wife wanted the door bars to be removable for when she drives the truck

since im switching up the appearance some i went with a SS bumper cover and had it modded to work with the HD grill. the bumper is currently in the rough stage and will be smoothed out once it goes to the painter.

i went ahead and removed the factory style bumper and its frame horns. I took a page from the Lightning crowd book and bolted my grill and bumper cover together

bumper is pretty sturdy with it being bolted to the fenders on the sides, i also used the stock side brace arms and make a strap to tie in the bumper cover behind the brake ducts

doing this mod i lost 65lbs off the nose of the truck

went ahead and welded a 4" vband to the compressor housing

then proceeded to weld a 2.5" vband to my driverside manifold

picked up a 28x13x5 garrett core to build my intercooler from
