I finally unloaded the truck today from picking up the 6.0 Thursday. Unfortunatly I noticed that the heads have a few gouges on them. One around the exhaust port and another around one of the intake ports. What do you guys think....just get them welded up and cleaned up? Everything else looks good for the price I paid. Looks like this one blew a head gasket. 2 of the pistons had brown muck in them as well as 3 of the intake valves. I'm not to worried about it though. I think I may take the block and heads down to the local machine shop and get them cleaned up. I can't stand to have dirty parts laying around. THe only thing missing is the lifters. Oh well, good excuse for some new ones.
