4.8

Iv had this truck for a while now and its just so sad the performance i mean it wont even bark the tires from a dead stop.

I dont want anything to extream but i would love to be able to spin the tires on demand and possibly catch a 2nd gear scratch what would i need to do to make this happen?

Also what would it take to get into the 14s

The truck is a 05 excb 2wd

What is the rpm with 3.73s at 70-80mph or maybe even some mpg

To get to 14's I would say 93 Nelson tune and 4:10's and that would def bark the tires.

it all depends....

If you wanna go fast, it all depends on how much money you want to spend. As for not being able to spin the tires, you have to understand chevy's traction control is VERY smart so needless to say it will prevent the tires from losing traction.......unless you find some way to turn it off

well the nelson tune can take your traction control off. and get you better mileage and more power. go for the 93octane best numbers, follow that with some long tubes and lose the cats,oh and to get to the 14's get ready to buy a cam, stall and maybe some spray.

with a intake, tune, muffler, and a window switched 100 shot I went 14.7 @97.5 mph. If you spray out of the hole with an open diff, you will just spin the tire. Get 4.10's, locker, headers and ory, tune, and decent tires, I bet youll get into the 14,s. Its all in the hole shot though. get the 60ft times down however you can.
