6L85E Specs, Info, How it Works

Heres a link to Powertrain Control Systems website, it says they are developing a controller for the 6L80E trans.

I sent them an email to ask if they had an idea of when it might be available.

Thats the one I was talking about, I have called them every few months for over a year now.
Last time I talked with them they said summer of 08.

Mast Motorsports put a 6.2/6L90E in a 68 chevy truck.Mast Motorsport - High Performance Powertrain Solutions, GM Gen IV engine development & controls

for now there still aren't any stand alone controllers done. so if you want to use a 6L80E/6L90E you'll want to use a Gen IV engine and ECM.

Talked to FLT yesterday asked if they were working on 6 speed auto technology... The sales rep told me that the controller for these transmissions is integrated into the trans making it ALMOST impossible to retrofit into older vehicles.
