    Arrow lt1 or ls1

i was wondering with would be easier to swap. its a 1993 chevy silverado with a 4.3 liter and 5 speed trans. i was wondering if any one knows who makes motor mounts, and if i could keep my stock trans or not.any prices for parts of both motors.

    thanks.

LS1 is the easiest. Any 4.8, 5.3, 5.7ls1, 6.0 or 6.2L engine will be easier than a LT1 swap. More parts are available for them plus you have us here for help.

I never liked the flawed idea of optispark being located under the water pump on the lt1. Its a disaster waiting to happen even if you get the lt1 swapped in. I vote LS style

GENIII all the way. the LT1 was good in its time but IMO is way out dated. and like show&go said the distributor is an ax-cident waiting to happen. 1 time with this happening and youll regret going with a GENII.

    LS1 is overrated.

I would go with the LT1. More power for your buck.

Hey who took over Davids account. He has never owned an LT1.

Least I don't think he has.
