What to get?

Ok guys, I have been surching on ebay lately checking out ls1 engines for a future swap. Don't have the money now but I want to see what I could get on for. I know that around 2000+ you could get a LS6 block, but does it realy matter. I mean would I still be good with the regular ls1 block. Thanks for the recomendations and suggestions.

Either one will be nice, just make sure it ran good and no smoking, these engines are pretty good about staying strong,

you should be able to keep your eyes open and get a long block for about $1200 ,

when you planning on doing the swap?
