V-6 Engine & Transmission Value?

Selling both to help pay for the swap...Just curious what I should ask for the 1996 4.3 Litre Vortec V-6 & 4L60E transmission with 40,000 miles on them. All stock. Oil changed every 3,000 miles. Would include computer, manifolds, etc...Any Idea? Thanks, Gar

That engine combo is going to be hard to sell, I'd start at $1000 , hope that doesn't offend you, but mine sat around forever, doh, I ended up giving the engine away for $100 bucks and the selling the tranny for $100 bucks. Just got tired of seeing it sitting around for two years.

However yours is newer and less miles. You may get a good amount of $$$ for it.

j-yards ask $600+ for a used 4l60 round here, i listed mine for $500, and it sold a week later. as for the motor id say ask 600, and take closest offers within your reason.

buy a jeep and put it in there

They are getting somewhat popular in jeeps so you may want to go to some jeep boards and try selling it
