Getting ready to do a 5.3l swap in my 89 c1500 and want to run newer low mount a/c and would like to know what mount would give me that frame clearance
the factory mount is the tightest fitting one but you will have to notch the frame in order to make it fit, we have done that on a few trucks here at the shop. Another option would be a LS simple front mount system that uses a v5 ac compressor. it is a top mount but it looks really nice and works great
