Price to LS swap a 97 suburban?

Have an old 97 k1500 suburban with a wore out 350. Have a complete 5.3 sitting in the shop floor. For you guys that have swapped an LS into an obs truck, how much would this swap cost Just for parts? I would do all the work. Any help is much appreciated thanks!

If you already have the engine and your going to rework your harness then is say no more that 600. You'll need headers, motor mounts, a flywheel and spacer, and some hoses and fluids. Maybe a cheap CAI and some fittings for fuel. Of course you can go more than that if you want to retain a/c and add e-fans and any fun stuff. It really is an easy swap.

I would budget about $1k for the swap if you have the engine. Motor mounts can be had for about $35 on ebay for the 1" setbacks. Headers will run about $250 on Amazon for Pacesetters, off road y will add another $150 to that. The flywheel spacer can be had for about $25 if you want to forgo the GM parts route.

You can probably get a used one from an 5.3 truck for less than what it will cost to build that one and then you won't have to deal with spacers and all for the converter. Just add a trans go kit for insurance and run it.
