After several drawn out months including the last few weekends worth of tinkering, I'm finally calling it done! Huge thanks to all the members who helped with the few questions I had and the general knowledge contained within this forum, could always find an answer.

Long story short, '93's original 4L60E went out a year ago, I pulled the TBI 350 apart and found it was trashed too. So I swapped in an '05 6.0/4L80E. Buttoned it all up at work today with the completion of the cruise control.

The 6.0 is bone stock, 140k miles, just has the custom intake setup and no cats. I am so impressed by how it runs, will definitely do a (boosted) similar swap in my '69 C10 some day. This one will remain as is though.



Next up is some body work as it's trashed, I have a new bed, right fender and door and both bumpers to slap on it next weekend. Can't wait to get it out in the desert and play, especially when it gets muddy. Though it really needs a posi/locker now, anyone got a good deal on one for a 9.5"? lol

It was a fun, though tedious, experience, learned a lot and have tons of ideas for the next swap. Thanks for all the ideas and help everyone!
