im gonna start off with New Here and this will be my first swap

I own a 1989 c1500 and im wanting to do a 2008 ly6 with 4l80 swap
and im wondering what all will be needed i have some stuff already just want to be sure before i start the swap

what i have now:
dirty dingo mounts
my wireharness converted
and a LY6/4l80e swap

what im not sure of
what long tube header to get?
can i use the AC compressor that came with my swap or do i need to buy a kit?
if i do a cam swap and want to keep my VVT and drivability whats recommended?
also who should i get to tune my ecm?
if forgot anything please feel free to let me know

You can use the AC compressor that came with your engine, but you will have to notch your frame, and box it in.

Will those headers work fine with the dirty dingo mounts
And for the AC what do I need to do about lines?

Why would you want to keep the VVT? Just limits the availbility of cams out there to swap in.

Those headers work with dirty dingo mounts.I used the original a/c that came with my truck with a dirty dingo a/c mount.

For the A/C you are going to need custom made lines.

Don't forget the fuel pump. Walbro, or a Vortec 96-99.

i did the fuel pump already thats the reason im doing the swap because my other one went out at 145,000
