Two oil lines in back of 6.0

I need to make a build thread instead of making a new one for every question, so sorry bout that guys. Just running into a few small problems on my 04 5.3 to 6.0 swap.

I took the two oil lines off the back of my lq4 and replace with the block off plate from my old 5.3. I guess thats what o was supposed to do? Im assuming that was for an oil cooler on the heavy duty trucks. Now I have a leak from around that plate when the trucks running. Has anyone else had this problem? Can I just use some rtv gaskett maker?
