Which adapter plates to keep trans in stock location on OBS 4wd?

I've searched and can't find a definitive answer. Do I need the 1" set back plates or just the regular plates. I want to keep my trans in the stock location so I don't have to get a new driveshaft or trans cross member. My truck is a 95 4x4. Thanks!
