Avalanche Body mounts
I have a complete 5.3 out of a 2002 avalanche, my goal is to put it in my 2000 Gmc Serria. The questions that I have been trying to find the answer to is, are the avalanche's body mounts the same as the trucks. I have everything to make this swap except the fuel lines, and a/c lines. I have looked to see if anyone has asked this before, but I have not seen if this question has been asked. Any help would be greatly appericated.
Body mounts or motor mounts? Should be the same....
are you talking stock body mounts, or body LIFT KIT?

They are the stock ones that came with the engine, stock Avalanche body mounts
Are you talkning about mounting the body to the frame(body mount) or the engine to the frame(motor mount)?????

Body mounts = cab mount to frame.

I was looking at the engine the other day on the stand. And I noticed that when it was removed from the avalanche they took the bolts a loose from the mounts that hold it to the frame. I might be calling them by the wrong name, but they are ones that were bolted to the frame of the avalanche.
The mounts that attach the engine to the frame are MOTOR MOUNTS. The BODY MOUNTS attach the body of the vehicle to the frame.
As far as I know the motor mounts are the same.

the motor mounts are the same Tahoe/Av/Silverado. IF your truck was a 4.3L they will be different though.
