NBS 4x4 LS6 swap mpg question

Hey guys, my frist post here, and i have a quick question.
I have a 5.3 iron block out of my fathers 2002 tahoe, he swapped it with an lq4, and the 5.3 is at the engine shop being bored over to a 5.7. I have a complete LS6 rotating assembly, im getting a pair of 243 or 799 heads, and a stock LS6 camshaft.
This is going into my 2006 Silvy with 3.73 gears,, 4l60e, stock tires, and 4x4 push button regular cab short bed.
What do you think my mpg would be?

Depends how you drive. It's that simple. I get 18-20 in my crew cab z71 6.2. I got 19-21 in my RCSB z71 with the 5.3. My RCSB 4.8 4x4 got 15 no matter how it was driven.

okay thanks alot, i know if i kept my foot out of it i can get decent mpg (that will be hard, it seems my foot is made of lead somehow...) but as long as im not getting worse than 15city/ high teens low 20's highway with it ill be very happy.
I take it with that motor it will be a good runner, ill be using it as a daily driver that i can tattoo my town with if i wanted...

my LQ9 with a tr224 cam gets 8 mpg. If I keep my foot out of it I can get maybe 11 mpg. Of course mine being a CC 4wd with 4.10's doesn't help either

Geez. City or hwy? Kinda makes me want to keep the 4.8 and not swap in a 6.0.

well i believe that LeadFoot being a 6.0, but i would be pissed off if my 5.7 is going to get that...but im not going to run that big of a cam in it, if anything a 218/212 12lsa camshaft. but i suppose if im building it, i can make sure i can afford the gas haha
