ok, im only 15 but i have a big big imagination......i want a LS6 engine in my truck...when this will happen? who knows?
i plan everything out before it actually happens(even if it doesnt happen)....i want my truck done by me, no one else. ok so here comes the big question, where could i get a LS6 engine? could i go to a Chevy dealership and ask them to order me one? go to the salvage yard, if we have one? i have family in the car biz so i could probly get it a lil cheaper than it outrageous price....but would those be good starts?

    got mine off ebay

salvage yards are more popular since a little bit of miles knocks the $$$ down a bit. GM LS1's are lookin @ about $5700 (From Pace Perf.) with no tranny, but new. Tranny's are usually about another $1000(4l60e?)-$2700(T56-quote from Cromer )

Doing it yourself, or at least having someone help you and you watching, is the best way to go.

just becuase they have more ppl registered, go to ls1tech.com or ls1.com and see if there are any in the classifieds.

check ebay like homie said above, and i'm sure you'll get what you're looking for. i bought all mine new , from smcperformance.com, even though it was quite a bit more than used ones, i'm very happy with it, it runs strong and fast,

    good luck,

    allen
