6.0 swap on budget what do i need

I gotta 85 c-10 that I want to put a 6.0 in I'm on about a $2000 budget I plan on using a good built 700r just wondering what kind of wiring harness and ecu I need mainly and what I need for the trans to work with the motor I want have ac so don't need any info on that so if yall could just give me a list of everything I need to put it in and make it run and where to get the stuff would be greatly appreciated.

Do you want to go fuel injected? If not MSD sells a intake mani and computer kit for LSx's to run a carb. That kit goes for $700 from summit or jegs. Just a thought to keep cost down because you won't have to invest in a all new fuels system.

The only problem with that is you still have to buy the carb, and intake and ignition control from jegs or summit. This is just my opinion, but it wouldn't make the budget any cheaper.
