Here's the final product.

Stock 4.3L was replaced with a stock 5.3L.
We used the stock trans and fan clutch/rad/shroud setup.
The conversion went fairly quick and easier than anticipated, and easier than the previous swaps.
One thing that helped were the Dirty Dingo engine mounts. It may not seem like a big deal afterwards, but during a conversion, half an inch off makes things a pita when positioning the engine and trans.

We need to make a heat shield for the filter, clean up the fuse block wiring, and it's done.
No a/c btw.
