    81 c10 ?

I'm new here but Iv'e been reading some, most of you are useing headers. Is there any thing wrong with useing Corvette manifolds? Also will I need to use a speical oil pan. The engin I'll be swaping in is a 98 LS1. I'll probably be asking a bunch of other ? please bear with me this is my first try at a FE motor swap. Thanks!

Most exhaust manifold fit nicely with little or no trimming. Some require a trim of the passenger side frame rail. I am doing OBS swap so Im not completely familiar with these.

Special oil pan? Do you need shallower than an F-body pan?

I have no idea what pan works, I haven't tried to put it in the truck yet. I was just wondering if the F body pan would work or if I would have to switch it for something else. Thanks for the manifold answer. This is just going to be my cursier/shoptruck i'm really not worried about 1/4 mile so I was hopeing headers weren't necessary.

ya you could use the truck pan but if you already have an f-body pan it will work too. you should trade me your f-body pan for my truck pan.....
