why does the 60E need spacers to mount up to the 6.0? just swap to a 60E flywheel, use the 60E converter...right?

im sorry but 500rwhp in a bagged truck..why? youll never use it as a race truck. go with 350rwhp imo. the 6.0 in a small truck like that without a square tubing frame designed for the Tq that 6.0 will put out is a waste. its like putting a cammed 350 in a stock S10 an hoping itll hit 12s on slicks without twisting the frame.

i think your looking for the glory of 500rwhp in a 3000lbs truck bagged on 22s an blah blah. its just a waste of money if youll never use it for what its built for. just my .02, not being a butthole just questioning the motive of this build
yes i am building a complete chassis for the engine i'm building. 2x3x3/16 rect. tubing. mainly i want the 500 hp due to my neighbor building a gen 1 s10 with a 355 who has ran his mouth a little too much.... he think his truck can beat mine. i figure 500hp all motor will be enough with the added weight of my wheels, frame suspension etc. so yes, i will be running it down the track. it isn't being built just to look good... if that was the case i would just throw an ls1/6 intake on it and call it a day.

on a side note....
it is definately a 2500.... not so sure on the hd or non hd, but i will see the truck when i go to pick the motor up. it will be pulled out later this weekend or early next week. i'll know for sure EXACTLY what it is and then let you know. all i do know is it is suppossedly an early model 6.0 engine
