I emailed Areomotive to try and ask a few questions about which regulator to go with. Summit Tech was absolutely worthless and me and allen couldnt figure out why the Summit guy was sayin my truck is a returnless fuel system so i said to him and just emailed Aeromotive straight up. here is the response i got..seems like a very helpful guy. thought i'd post here so anyone with a question about the regulator could gain a little insight on the idea. Does anyone know what the fittings are on the line from the Walbro 255lph High Pressure Pump????

" The LS1 is designed to operate with a returnless fuel system, technically, there’s a regulator in that system, but it’s in the tank, so return fuel just dumps out of the regulator into the tank directly. You can use any Aeromotive EFI regulator in conjunction with the 255lph pump, but the right reg will have to accommodate the fuel line size you choose to run, as well as where you locate it and how you plumb the rails.

If you dead-head the stock LS1 rail, I’d use the 13301, put it as close to the rail inlet as possible, and flow through it by coming in one side from the pump, out the other side into the rail, and out the bottom and back to the top of the tank.

Let me know if you have any more questions and good luck!

I bought a complete fuelpump assembly from a LS1 TransAm sending unit and all, so it has the regulator built into the unit.

if you are buying the intank walbro pump, you don't need any fittings, it just installs with rubber hose and clamps, so you're good there.

cool on the aeromotive tech, summit techs do suck, lol

Yhe 13301, it's only adjustable from:
Regulator's base pressure is adjustable from 3 to 20 PSI with the standard spring. Optional high pressure spring (included) increases the range from 20 to 65 PSI. Fuel pressure will rise on a 1:1 ratio when referencing boost.
This is for street and strip carb engines.

I'd get the 13105 fuel pressure reg. : Adjustable from 30 to 70 PSI.
This one is a fuel injected regulator.

hahah, i know, sorry about that, but i didn't see the 09 reg. just get one that is capable of 65psi but maxes out a little more, you wouldn't want to be pushing it so close to it's max flow.
    then, you'll be fine.

what kind of rad. did you get?

well i ordered the 13109 regulator. called summi, and the sales/tech guy was a prick who really didnt wanna help me...kept repeating what he said until he got tired of it even though i was askin different questions. so i said :flipoff: and called and ordered it from jegs.

i got a summit radiator, he said it was probably made by be-cool...they look the same. its a 32x19 or close and is all aluminum has the same measurements you got allen. paid $180 shipped from summit. ill post some pics in another thread in a little while.
