well i was buying a wercked tahoe today with a 5.3 for 500 and the guy sold it. ive already started my swap and ordered motormounts and everything and sold my old motor...

Finding an ls1 with a transmission for $1000 isn't going to happen unless someone either doesn't care about money or they think it's a 5.3L. I have found tons of great deals but I have yet to see someone with an ls1/4l60e in good shape with no strings attached for under $1250. Most people want over $2000 for their setup.

get a truck motor ls1's are overated and overpriced if you search 6.0 on racingjunk.com youll find a guy with a 04 van that has a running 6.0 and 4l80e the tranny needs rebuilt and it has a few miles but he is wanting 1000 for the whole thing and you can hear it run Ill bet he'll take less sounds hard up for money...
