quick question???

hey i have a set of heads and a cam from a 98 camaro ss just layin around the house. not sure what the specs are for them. would i get good results if i put this setup on an lq9 block? or should i just leave the lq9 stock? this is for a 2000 silverado ext. cab. thanks

The 98 cam has slightly more duration and lift and a higher LSA. Not worth it. Someone else can answer the head question but I think the heads are the same with exception to the smaller chamber that will raise the C/R.

Different bolt patern on the heads. The 97-98 heads won't bolt up to 99+ truck engines.
