    Engine covers?

I'm trying to decide what my options are for an engine cover. Does anyone know what intake the trailblazer SS came with? With it being an LS2 I'm not sure if it would have had a truck style intake or the shorter car type.

I'll have to look into the ctv-s cover. I found a trailblazer SS cover on ebay I just didn't know if it would fit the truck intake on my 5.3l. Now that I think about it I've only seen the LS1 style intakes with the coil/fuel rail type covers so It would probably fit.

    looks ugly imo.

to the OP, have you thought about just polishing your engine parts and cleaning up your intake? and the tbss intake is different then the truck, but not the same as the normal ls2 car intakes. its a bigger version of the truck intake for the most part.

look around for shaved truck intakes and how to do it. they look pretty good, check out my build(thread in sig) for what you can do to stock valve covers and timing cover, and paint and powder coat everything else. if your going to have a nice engine show it off, don't cover it up.

I'd sell mine for $100 maybe but I'm too lazy to take a pic.

Painted covers and a shaved intake would look really nice but I don't care about looks enough to do that much work. I really like the look of the cts-v cover I may have to check around some salvage yards and see if I can find one.

its really not that much work, an houre or so with a dremel and another houre with some fiberglass filler will make it look alright. mine is taking longer since I am doing more then normal.
