you get a flat out 58 psi at the fuel rail maximum. Any excess is returned to the fuel tank.
I have a return less style fuel rail that came with my 5.3, i was planning on swapping it out for a return style fuel rail off an older model but i was wondering if ti would be worth keeping it. I saw some people use the Corvette fuel filter that does this how does that filter work? does it have a vacuum refrence to raise fuel pressure when needed?

so what are your guys thoughts get the return rail or use the vette fuel filter?
If you're building a daily driver, whichever one you can get cheapest. For a race vehicle, a flow through fuel rail with a bypass fuel regulator to return excess fuel after passing through both rails.

I to have the same question. Maybe someone will key in with some info on how to make the corvette fuel filter work, and a part number would be nice.
All that information is in the OBS LS1 conversion sticky.

It would be cheaper and easier to stay with the return style of fuel lines you have now and spend some cash to get a return style fuel rail. What year is the truck you have and what year is the 5.3 you got?
NP CHARGED
well do you guys know if there is an AN conversion fittling to use on the outlet of the corvette fuel filter?
