how much hp gains a guy could see from extensive head work on a 5.3 porting,bigger valves,etc. just wanting to know if its worth it ?

if done right head work can make good numbers. unless doing yourself you cant beat the packages some companys offer. for 800 bucks thats a good price for springs, port work and new valves...

depends on how much money you spend and how good of a job it is, head work is 75% of the battle to making power, you can get some MASSIVE gains from it if you have the rest of the parts to go with it
