I read in a previous post that www.sbcperformance.com does full swaps for $4000. I am from south east missouri and I was wondering if there were any shops like that that anyone knew of in my area. Any help would be appreciated!

i know tommy(owner of sbc performance) and he's about as cost effective as anyone ive seen anywhere. he's a good guy and has helped my quite a bit with my truck swapping from 4.3 to 6.0 and he did the same conversion with his truck so he knows what he is doing. also he has done work for some major publications as well so he is reputable for only having been open for under a year. he works in conjunction with charlie wheatley quite a bit and i believe that price includes a custom tune and the engine and everything. id be very surprised if anyone can match that price for a 6.0 and tune and swap. also if i remember correctly he supplies the transmission as well but i could be wrong...

well my truck that i'm wanting a swap done on is a 90 GMC Sierra reg. cab, short bed. It's a regular 350 truck with an automatic. I'm wanting to either swap a 5.3 or a 6.0 into it but I'm not really mechanically inclined that's why I'm looking for a shop in my area.
