    Rear mount opinions

Lookin at slappin this set of 241's on my 4.8 and doing a rear mount set up, ive heard mixed opinions on rear mount turbos. Seems like it would be easier to fab up. Whats everyones opinion on rear mount vs front mount on,a rcsb.

Front mount vs. rear mount is a battle that may never end. I have used both rear and front mount setups and so have a few other members. Here is my experience on both:

    Rear mount:
    A little sluggish spooling up
    Very easy to install
Not the most fun to properly setup the oil svanging system
    Need a scavenge pump
    A ton of cold piping

    Front mount:
    May take a little fabrication
May have to move some sutff (I had to move my overflow tank)
    Less cold piping
Oil return is very simple (oil drains using gravity)
    Spools quick

Do some research. I think the biggest deciding factor will be your preferance. Whatever you do, DO NOT buy an STS kit. It is mostly garbage.

Get in contact with Trick, KBracing, or Nelson. Explain what you want and need and they will give you all the info you need.

Rear mount used to be cheaper, easier. Now with more and more guys going turbo front mount kits have come down a lot in price. The only thing I don't like about rear mounts is that damn oil setup.

Anyone got any good links to some pics of a good front mount set up?
