My relay that controls my lt1 fans is on the fritz. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't. I am wanting to set them up with the truck computer, I am not very electricaly inclined. I have seen the diagram but don't understand it. Is there anyone that can help.

    Thanks,
    Randy

If you're refering to my schematic for the ls1 fan setup, i can help.

it's really easy to install and wire up, however you'll need to edit the pcm in order to have them turn on.

    so what's your first question?

Get the parts that are shown in the shcematic.

I'm not sure how to be more exact than the drawing shows, but make your wires and crimp some connectors on the end, the kind that slide over the tips of the relays.
Make sure you use the correct qauge wire.

The ground the pcm supplies allows the little mechanism inside pull the circuit shut and it turns on the power.

The truck pcms aren't setup to do this stock, you'll need edit or me, hehehe, to turn them on for you. It's really nice having the pcm to turn them on, you can forget about them and they just work. Plus they come on when you want them too, not like a probe type switch, which is fine, but not exact.

Can someone give me the schematic? I remember reading about this on tech a while back but dont remember all the details. I would like to swap mine over to the pcm instead of the thermo probe I am currently using.

Well, I may need someone to wire this up for me, I don't understand how to read the schematic, and not sure exactly what parts to buy. Sorry.
