    are the bbk throttle bodys actually worth the $320 or is there sumthng better for the trucks with electronic throttle bodys also slp makes a maf for the camaros, vets and gto's are they compatible with the trucks or do i have to get the more expensive granitelli

    I would go for like a stock ported TB or something like that. TRTturbo makes some nices ones.

    You know, I think that is a very good question. One filled with complexities that would be hard to address all in one setting. I added the BBK 80mm DBW TB to my rig and with the centrifugal blower most people were of the opinion that it would probably not be worth the effort. After installing it and going through weeks of troubleshooting it&#39;s sticking throttle blade from the factory, I was able to get it tuned in fairly close. There were some gains seen with this mod, coupled with the stall convertor and headers. I guess all in all the final test would be to compare airflow in my logs against similar builds. At 5800 rpm I am seeing 64.55 lb/min at 186.5 kPA. How much of this is associated with the TB? Dunno.... But I am glad it&#39;s there......
