2002 gauge Cluster Bulbs

I was wanting to get a regular white face gauge and put in some orange bulbs, has anyone done this on a newer style truck? I don't think our bulbs pop out, but i can solder them in.

someone has to have changed the bulbs out.... Come on guys.

I just did this, but in blue.

I got 3 6 bulb LEDs and 3 5 bulb LED's. I was able to take the stock bulbs out of their holders and reuse the holders for the LEDs. I set em up 2 ways, one with the 6 bulbs in the main part of the cluster (tach & speedo) with the 5's at the other gauges (voltage, gas, oil, temp) (Setup 1) and then I switched em (Setup 2). All 6 bulbs ran ~27 total from superbrightleds.com (they have amber too).

I think the 5 in the speedo/tach looks the best and the most even. I think if I were to do it again I would use 6 5bulb leds to spread it all out, and I woudl also get the new bases (Twist Lock) so i wouldn't have to mess with the old ones. Much easier to do.
