What kind of problems am i looking at dash electronic wise, in a 1986 or older truck with a 6.0L?
Hmm... that's the same thing I was wondering today on my lunch hour. A buddy and I were discussin' this, and I don't think there will be much issue, unless your cluster is like mine with the mechanical speedo & no tach.
If you've got enuff green on your money tree, Allen (farmtruc) can fab up a 4-bang harness for ya at a real descent price. I hear he does great work. I'm on a budget, so I'll be graftin' my own. If you're going down my path, get manuals for your new setup. I have a underhood schematic if you need.

All electric. I made it from a 1995 Monte Carlo instrument cluster. It took about 40 hours worth of work. I'm sure it could be done cheaper with less work. You could install some autometers in place.
