'05 hot when on wire for Radar

Need to find a hot wire only when key in on position for '05 Silvy.

I've seen it done by using the power wire to the reading lamps in the overhead console, but they are all the time, not just when on.

Thanks, I should have said under the dash. I have the concealed display unit attached to top of steering column so I can see count, location and speed in one look.
