Got the fans all wired up. Great mod. You can really tell the difference. It didnt take to much time once I figured out what wires went where. Anyway........once the fans come on, and I turn off my engine they continue to run for 25-30 seconds. Are they suppse to do that? And are they suppose to run all the time? Because mine didnt come on once while driving. They did while in the driveway idling, so I know they work. But it was about 60 degrees outside today. Any thoughts?

What was the answer to the question? Mine are doing the same thing, I just wired them up last night and the PCM kicks them on but they don't shut off and it was cool enough last night that it should have kicked off. Any suggestions?

So you say that you could tell the electric fans gave you more power? How much is expected from that mod, and what is the cost?

about 5 -10 horse power, and you can find a good used set of fans for around 90 to 130 shipped. or look in a junk yard. i wouldnt pay anymore thatn $100 for a set used.

Mine cycle in slow traffic and idle when its cool out like now. In the summer they seem to run all the time. And they do continue to run after the truck is off if the temp probe is used.

The fans stay on if, when you shut the truck off, the temp is higher than you have the setpoint at. It's normal.
