Thread: Fog Light Bulb COnversion

    Heres what I have planned. I know the fog lights for the 03 chevy is 9145's. But i want to replace them with the 9005 (hi beam). Does anyone have any experience with this or any problems with doing this. Or should i just through thsi idea away?

    the high beem lights will work on the fogs did that on mine and it works great.

    No problems with heat or melting yet?
    03 SIlverado LS SCLB 4.8 w/ 3.42 rear, K&N FIPK, mild catbak duals, vette servo and a few other things added.

    Ditto, I thought they got too hot and melted the housing/lens of the fog lights.
