2007 GMC yukon idles high
My 07 yukon had previously dtc P0121 for TPS performance come up, first time I cleared it didnt return for about a week, then it went two days and finally every morining it would set, I was recommended to clean out the throttle vody which I did, but immediatly after that this thing idles at 2200 rpm and will not return to normal, I can shift into gear and it seems to come down but as soon as you place it in park or rev the motor slightly it returns back to 2200 rpm, I unhooked the battery cables and performed the capacitive discharge method, but it didnt help, I drove it in start and stop for over 30 minutes and still no change, i read on google to take it in to my nearest dealer and have them perform a throttle idle relearn procedure, but I would like to know if there is anyone out there that has had this issue, please let me know, thanks.
1999 Gmc Sierra, converted from 4.8 to LQ4 6.0, 3.73 rear gears, TCI rebuild kit with Trans-go Stage 1 shift kit, Aem Brute force cold air, Flowmaster super 44 with dual outlets,, Nelson Perfomance tune, pacesetter LNGTubes, off road-y, LS1 fans, home lowered 3.5" in the front and 4.5" in the rear, all debadged and smoothed....
