    Lines in my projectors! HELP!

so this spring i bought some black projectors for my truck and since i put them in i have weird lines going across my headlights when they are on. I've tried adjusting them sum but still can't get rid of them! Didn't bother me too much before but now that i put my HID's in it bothers the heck outta me! Any help or suggestions is greatly appreciated!! (i've attatched a pic of what they look like against a building)

That's just how they are. I had a buddy buy some for his Camaro and they were the same way. Its the cutoff line so you don't blind oncoming traffic.

ya, if the passenger side 'block off' was flipped it'd be alot less annoying. main reason I took mine off.

If you want to, you can take apart the headlights(open the case) and use a Dremel to flatten the little "Z" parts so that its a straight line. Make sure to seal the housing really good or water will get inside.

When you take the shields out does it still have the cutoff line, or does it blind everybody in front of you? I wish I would have taken pictures of my buddy's light when we did it. You have to seperate the clear lens(front of the light) from the back of the housing. Then you take the projector glass out and you will see a shield with a step>>(-|_) looking cut at the top. Grind it smooth and reassemble the light.
