this is the deal i installed the dynatech headers and i be damn ya see what happened was after i installed the spark plugs i pulled one wire on the passenger side to put the dipstick in anyway i got side tracked ( kids) and forgot to put plug wire back on, now my abs wire was butt connected from being broke before, anyway when i went to start the engine i noticed it was running rough, looked under hood and see the spark plug wire arcing onto the abs butt connector, now my abs system module motor or whatever you call it keeps running i pulled the 60 amp fuse bu everytime i reinstall it, it kicks the motor back on,, which is located just be behind the driverside door.. i have the fuse removed as i cant leave it like this, also my coder reader will not read i tried pulling and reinstalling the ecm 1 and ecm2 fuses to correct it but now it still wont read.. and my abs light and brake light stays on.. ( cause fuse is removed) from abs system... any help would be appreciated ..

Let me guess... You turn the truck off and take the key out, And that bastard keeps running until your battery is dead! Your EBCM is toast! Only fix is to replace it. They can be repaired, But good luck unless you know what your doing. It will cost about 1k for a new one installed.

You can get one from a bone yard cheaper and install it yourself if you have a half a brain. The EBCM needs to be computer bleed with a scan tool. I know a neet little trick with the KEY to bypass it and bleed it. PM me if you need to know so I dont have to type it out

thanks for the reply yeah i found enough info on the web i ended up buying one from a bone yard cost me 40 bux installed it added fluid and thats it breaks and all work well i found out on the 99 to 01 models all they need to have done is change unit add fluid and youre done i went ahead and changed all 4 disc breaks since they were worn, everything is ok as of now no problems and no abs lights on, i did read about what youre talking about and its true for models 02 and above yes you have to have a scan tool to pulse the selnoids to bleed the breaks ..
