Hey KY_BOB,
I'm sure your truck is very strong, but I would think with those mods, your truck should be there.
Have you had it to the track yet?

Yeah, he ran the 1/8 at Huntsville but that was prior to getting HP Tuners and realizing he was running 131% duty cycles.... I sold him my GM 8.1L Marines and convinced him that Meth was good... Don't think he has been back since.....Plus I think he has a pulley drop since then also.... I think once he gets his mifire issues straight and gets the meth dialed in, he will be there.....

I had the same 3.12" pulley that's on it now at it at Huntsville. It's best run was a 9.79 @ 71 in the 1/8th. That should equate to a very low 15 in the quarter. That was on it's first run of the day before heat soak became an issue. They were running us through in less that 15 minute between runs and it was over 90 deg that day. It dropped off a couple of hundreths each run, by the 5th one it was up to a 9.91.

I'm not sure that tuning alone can get me to my goal but I'm trying.

seems you should be running alot better with those current mods including the meth....is it too rich when the meth kicks in and bogging you down......

Once your truck is at a certain level, the wideband is essential!

I'm sure it's there with those mods,

later,
allen

FAST now has a dual sensor wideband available. O2POLICE sells one that can be permanently mounted in your vehicle and can be setup to shut the engine down when severely lean or it can illuminate a light or just show you on a digital display that you're lean. That's a novel idea. I like that you can tune the vehicle and know which bank is lean or rich.

Nice... I might check into that...I have been toying with the idea of installing two widebands to jack into HP Tuners. I like the ide that I can tweak the O2's independently on each side to richen or fatten Bank 1 or Bank 2 independently from each other....

I just got the dual setup for my FAST, it's pretty neat, but kind of just extra information, you can tune just fine with one wideband.
