hey guys, while down at Nickens last Friday dropping off my engine, there just happend to be a stock LQ9 on the engine dyno. The engine wasn't making any power, how's 245hp sound, lol?
The customer decided to get a tune, and we eventually made 441HP out of a cammed LQ9 engine. I'm not sure what cam that was, I'll find out, but I thought that was very, very impressive!

Just shows how much these 6.0's have in them.

btw, 402 forged/14psi ugly truck coming soon!

Sounds awesome, makes me wanna hurry up and get my LS6 cam in, only two more weeks! Mine is only a 5.3L, but I like the power a cam can bring with a good tune!

I can't wait to see it Allen. That's gonna be sweet. Mabye the Flamethrower will be OK with the new motor (grin).

The truck is going to take a bit, it's been busy, but it will get done, I'm guessing in about two months or so.

The 6.0L just had a cam and tune, it was a custom grind from comp cam,

Im guessing thats a flywheel rating and is the power way up in the rpm band or does it have good number sdown low to it doesnt do any good to have that kind of hp at 7000.
