    Car Craft 6.0l april/may issues of 2007

    From these issues they show how a stock Lq4 with a cam swap, valve springs and intake and carb can make 480 bhp, then with a head swap and larger cam 550bhp.......anyone else read up on this? Can this kind of hp be attained by the factory efi system? Or would more $ have to be dropped in for intake, injectors and larger throttle body?

    that should be pretty easy. because thats probably at the flywheel.

    I have those issues. Good build but is more suited for a carb application.

    So the stock fuel injection system wouldn't handle it, or should I try using a Holley projection system I have lying around

    Bhp is flywheel horsepower, even at 23% loss to the trans and diffs it should still be laying down 375 with just a cam swap, and 429 with a set of heads

    I have the issue. It goes all the way up to 750hp with that build. they put on L92 heads and a blower!
