Denalis don't have LQ9's except for a few 06's. My 03 has an LQ4 and 317's stock.
Well supposedly it is an 06 so maybe that's where they screwed up.

Funny you can flash in a LQ9 tune into a LQ4 and do a little tweaking and get performance of a LQ9 , sorry SS guys nothing special .
The difference is pistons are flat in a LQ9 and the LQ4 slightly recessed .
Tunes look almost the same except for a few tables .
My LQ4 would always beat any stock 5.3 on a Dyno by 10 to 20 hp , tuned or not !![]()
Now what is a tune again?
Comp Cam 54-412-11 , Int:265, 212, .522 , Exh: 271, 218, .529 , LSA 114 , Longtube , CAI (Vararam) , TransGo HD2 shift kit , tuned by me with EFILive
lq9 has flat top pistons and i believe a ls1 cam.

Yeah but there's hardly a difference between the 9 cam and the 4 cam...they're really close.
Yea but they both suck! Way to mild IMO.![]()

My L33 5.3 made 267 HP on a hot August Humid Atlanta day on a DynoJet. See the chart in my sig. It had a Corsa tourning exhaust only.
Ricky you have headers, CAI and Allen spent hours doing a live tune on your truck!!!!
