    LQ-4+ Turbo

    just finished dynoing one of my customers truck today,
    we installed a 10# spring but only peeks 8 then steady at 6
    did 460 rwhp 510 rwtq uncorrected on a dynojet...
    will post a dyno sheet tomarow
    here are some pics of the truck, its an 04 with SS bumper

    mods are:
    04 lq4 stock longblock
    front mount pt67
    custom turbo cam
    60# injectors
    6# boost for now:angel:, peeks 8 at midrange though
    4l60e, 2600 TB converter
    4.11 gears , going to change to 3.42's

    Damn! those are good numbers,and with low boost it will do it for a long time!Im going to have to do a 6.0 front mount on mine this year...or at least a 6.0

    nice numbers! imo the turbo is too small to pump out much more but that can always be changed down the road!

    any videos or track times?

    Any reason to why the boost creeps and drops back to 6?

    Still damn good numbers though

    wastegate size or too small of turbo, be my guess

    X2, wastegate is too small or you have a poor signal line.

    I know you said stock longblock, but are the heads & valve springs stock still?

    no it has springs and pushrods also..
    customer is going to get the 76mm down the road, and yes the wastegate is a bit small also but in all he was happy with the #'s it put down..

    which to me that is all it matters, there is always room for bigger later on
